Monet - Poplar avenue /u

Claude Monet’s Poplars is well known as a series of 23 paintings created along the Epte River in France from the summer to the autumn of 1891. It is a masterpiece embodying Monet's sheer dedication and aesthetic vision—he went so far as to pay out of his own pocket to prevent the trees from being cut down just to complete the series.
